Microsoft's cloud is ‘no-brainer' for some AI startups, helping Azure gain ground on AWS

Microsoft is offering Y Combinator startups increased cloud credits to access technology for running AI workloads. Around 58% of Y Combinator startups have accepted Azure credits. Startups have found Microsoft’s offer of Azure credits appealing, especially for accessing advanced GPUs for AI model training. Azure’s strength in AI has given Microsoft an advantage over competitors like Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google. AWS previously dominated the market, but Microsoft’s access to GPU clusters and reputation as an enterprise technology company have narrowed the gap.
